Review for the Walkera Runner 250R
This Walkera racing drone is one of the best on the market and it is my personal favorite drone. The Walkera 250R is one of the latest and greatest racing drones that is capable of up to 35-40km/h.
It is well equipped with GPS that allows one-key go home and auto hovering. The GPS also has the latest software for the flight control system, this enhances the safety and accuracy.
This amazing Walkera Runner drone is also has a 12- megapixel HD camera that shoots 1080P at 60FPS with adjustable tilt angle. With the controller you have two options the standard DEVO 7 or the optional DEVO F12E.
They are both great but in a head to head comparison the DEVO F12E comes out the victor. Now I am not saying the the DEVO 7 is bad by any means, but is does not have the technology that the DEVO F12E is equip with.
The three comparing factors are simple distance, the channels, and the screens. Another cool thing about the drone is it comes in a bag the options are GPS 1, GPS 2, FPV 1, FPV 2. These options vary, its up to you to decide the option you want but I chose option FPV 1, because I like a remote with a screen.
The runner 250r drone has a carbon fiber main frame, the structure is compact/ rigid, and it has a built-in ODS module to show you real time fight data. The drone has a flight time of 11-12 minutes, but you can buy a bigger or additional battery for the drone.
